I’ve been writing poetry for many years now. When a poem comes to me I start to write it down and since Valentines Day is on its way and it’s also our Wedding Anniversary, so I thought I would share a few with you. I don’t think I’m good but I’ll let you all be the judge of that!
Valentine’s Day
Today is Valentine’s Day my love, and I sent Cupid on his merry little way. I wanted to give to you all of my precious love. So I am sending it just to you, on this very special day. All my love that is pouring from deep within my heart and soul, reaching out to touch you, like the stars touch the heavens above us in the moonlit sky at night. It’s rim is over-flowing with emotions, yet tender kisses that are filled with compassion, that at a distance you can’t touch them, but deep within you, you can feel the passion that I feel for you.
It’s so much love that it is felt on this day and on all others. Just for you love, only your heart is able to see, touch and to feel mine. When our hearts are beating as one, just listen to the music that they make. It’s the sound of magic that will keep us together as one forever.

Have you ever been in love before
Have you ever walked through loves open door
Has your heart ever skipped a beat
Has your love ever been so sweet
Have you ever wished upon a shooting star
Have you visions ever taken you that far
Has your soul ever been touched like this
Has your mind ever experienced true bliss
Have you even seen love so true
Have your eyes ever been so blue
Has your life story ever been told
Has your marriage ever been unfold
Have you ever felt this way before
Have you ever just wanted love more
Has your love ever been so true
Has your dreams ever been so new
Have your ever felt such tenderness
Have you reminisced about your first kiss
I’ve dreamed of all these things and more
When you walked through loves open door

Fairy Tales
Can there be such a thing as a fairy tale come true
With a handsome prince and a lovely princess too
Can it -really happen in such a present time
Where love is a commodity so precious and divine
Fairy tales can hold such sweet undying bliss’
When the prince gives his princess that very first gentle kiss
Will this fairy tale have a happy ending
I don’t really know
because it is still is pending
Is there such a thing as a fairy tale come true

Sometimes with the words you speak just leave me breathless
Just the kiss from your lips can leave me speechless
My love for you is so strong it will never die
It will grow so bold and bright to you I could never lie
Our minds are as molded as one our hearts are too
You are my Romeo my love now what am I to do
My hearts in pieces when ever we are apart
How can I function this way
It’s with you, my heart
The days are long
but the nights are even longer
I am feeling weaker but I should be feeling stronger
You leave me breathless
